America's Putin
Just another Putin
Born on American soil
You think our nation and dictatorships
Mix like water and oil
Somehow, you think we're immune
From having such a ruler in this land of ours
We have a constitution
That doesn't grant such powers
But don't forget this man
Once suggested the Constitution be set aside
And the people didn't object
Most were on his side
It's happened abroad
It can happen here
A Putin on our soil
Is something we should fear

Or is it a Wild and Crazy Thought?
Does he want to rule the world?
Yes, maybe that's a wild and crazy thought
Before he could even get started
We'd surely have him caught
But sit back, think and consider
How he mirrors the world's strongmen
And each of them would conquer the world
Do we expect him to be better than them?
Does he want to rule the world?
Yes, maybe that's a wild and crazy thought
Before he could even get started
We'd surely have him caught
But sit back, think and consider
How he mirrors the world's strongmen
And each of them would conquer the world
Do we expect him to be better than them?
Footholds
He wants to rule the world, I guessAnd he's eyeing some footholds, you know
Planning to take over Canada, Iceland, and the Panama Canal
I wonder if that will take a while
From there, who knows what conquests he has planned
Maybe he'll take Mexico
Who knows what countries he will eye next
Who knows where he will go
Sanity Escapes Him
Sanity escapes an insane man
Reality is never present
He wants to replace income tax with tariffs
And the results will not be pleasant
He argues there was a day
When tariffs were all that we had
And he will tell you we were better off then
Really, Mr. President, can you be so mad?
Poverty was rampant in America then
So, what is he talking about?
In a modern world, tariffs won't pay the bills
Of this, we have no doubt
So, write him off as insane
Our president-elect
He'll ruin our nation
He'll certainly leave it wrecked
