Give Us Justice at the Border, and We Will Agree to a Wall

If we would solve the immigration crisis, then let's solve it.
If the problem is people sneaking in, give Donald Trump his wall.
If the problem is criminals coming, screen out all those with criminal convictions. Screen out all those with clear-cut gang affiliations.
If the problem is not letting those who qualify in, then staff up our offices at the border, so more people are processed more quickly.
If the problem is that it takes too long for cases to wind their way through our immigration courts, staff up -- and place a deadline on how long the government will be allowed to string out the cases.
If the process is we are not rendering just decisions -- we are turning away those who should qualify -- establish an audit system with a separate appellate court.
These five things could easily be done. They would go a long way to solving the woes and supposed woes. No, I am not in favor of a wall. But, in a world of compromise, if you give us justice at the border, we will agree to a wall.
