If Colin Kaepernick doesn't get on with the Kansas City Chiefs -- coming in to fill for an injured Patrick Mahomes -- it's time for a public protest.
Think of it: Kaepernick surely heard about all the police shootings a few years back. Remember all the protests? People would not stand for the injustice; They took to the streets and demanded justice.
And, Kaepernick's kneeling was his way of standing up for them.
Now, its time for them to return the favor. Why no protests by the NAACP? I call on the NAACP in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Kansas City and other cities to organize protests. Stand behind the man who has stood behind you.
Or, whoever organizes the protests, let them be organized. This is social injustice --- in a major degree. Kaepernick was not all so far behind being the Patrick Mahomes of his day. Truly, he may not have been in Mahomes class, but he was good and young and tearing up a lot of turf. He achieved one of the best touchdown-to-interception ratios in NFL history.Seldom in the history of professional sports has a person been so blackballed.
Why no one revolts in protest for him, I do not understand.
