Shades of Hate

 SHADES OF HATE

Shades of hate

   Are shadows of death

And a nation divided

  Lives on borrowed breath

  

One side, two sides

  And love not lost

The peace of our nation

  Is what it does cost

To give us hope 

  We must take out hate

We must learn to love

  Or face our fate
