Graft and Corruption

Graft and corruption,
and corruption and graft—
it seems to not see it,
you'd have to be daft.

The man at the top,
the top of this land,
uses his office for riches,
and those riches are grand.

He frees the prisoners
and those who commit crime,
but locks up the immigrants
most every time.

He mocks the courts,
and courts those with funds—
if they'll do him some favor,
their crimes come undone.

The man at the top,
the top of our land,
deals in graft and corruption,
and things underhand.
