Sunshine in China

The sun shines in China, the same as in the U.S.
Yes, there's work and play and joy and happiness
And there's partying, games and shows
See, life sometimes is fine -- sorry, but its time that we confess

I've been to Iran and Iraq; I found the people noble
I've been to the land of Vladimir Putin's ruble
I've Vacationed in Kamchatka
And made many friends while in Chernobyl

I know there is injustice, and I know that it abounds
Sometimes you feel like a hare in a land of nasty hounds
But sometimes life is normal, sometimes the sun comes out
Sometimes there are even children, laughing in playgrounds
