Frightened, They Are

Frightened to come to the border, they are
Frightened to show their faces
Trump is shaking his fist at them
They are not in our good graces

Never have they been so unwelcome
Never so scared away
Immigrants dare not come to America
For that was another day

The borders are empty of immigrants
Not a one to be seen
None wants to show his face
To the Americans, so mean

Donald Trump is the man
Who scared them all away
He says he doesn't like them
And says they cannot stay

Maybe a few might tiptoe across
Only a few are brave
But most of them fear the wrath
Of the angry knave
