Let President Trump Question the Whistle-Blower

"Good afternoon, President. This is the whistle-blower. How are you today?" His voice was altered by a computer, so it could not be recognized.
President Trump responded with a greeting of his own. The two were not in sight of each other, but rather it was an audio conference. President Trump's demand that he be allowed to confront and question his accuser was being met.
He could ask all he wanted about his accuser, but the whistle-blower could refrain from answering those questions that might identify him.
The media was present. The House members involved in the impeachment inquiry also were there. In fact, it was their meeting.
A meeting like this would be wonderful. To balance the fairness, the whistle-blower could also ask questions of President Trump. If Trump could ask questions of him, it would only be fair that the whistle-blower could ask questions of President Trump.
And, it would all be out in the open.
