Almost 2,500 Papers Show that Fracking Should be Abandoned

  You would expect that if a process used about 1,000 chemicals, some of them would be carcinogens and the process would be dangerous.
  That process is fracking, and it is harmful to human health. Fracking is used to push natural gas out of the ground. Unfortunately, it contaminates the water it seeps into.
   The ninth edition of a compendium of research released today documents almost 2,500 papers providing evidence that fracking has a wide range of negative impacts on human health.
   If we were operating with concern for such a report, we would shut down all fracking operations. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. Natural gas companies are making too much money to let go of fracking.
