The 97 Percent and the 3 Percent

  Oft quoted, oft said, that 97 percent of scientists believe in man-made climate change. But that leaves 3 percent who don't, and it is suggested that they should be included in the discussion. Exclusion sidelines diverse opinions. 
   I would say 97 percent is a dominant figure. Do not exclude the 3 percent, just the same. However, do note those who are climate scientists, as opposed to being in other fields.
   I do not know how most scientific magazines work, but when a paper is published on either side, there should be a rebuttal. Someone on the other side of the issue should be sought out to question the premise of the paper. Then, when they do, the authors of the study should be allowed to defend their paper.
