Save Ukraine

You are eloquent and wonderful
And I can see that you are kind
And yet for all your kindness
You are neglecting all mankind

You argue for peace
In the land of Ukraine
You suggest Zelensky
From warring should refrain

You argue that Zelensky
Should put down his weapons of war
You speak of him as a wicked man
Wicked to the core

I confess I will need to study
All the charges that you make
But I am somewhat certain
Many of them are fake

Just the same, I wonder
Why should we cease to aid?
Will we watch them lose their freedom
While we just sit in the shade?

Protecting others is a privilege
An honor we've always had
But now you argue that doing so
Is something terrible and bad

I say we should help them
And not abandon good
It's a matter of honor
To do as we should
