The Winds of Ukraine

The rising of a storm in America
With winds that cross the seas
Has spawned a storm far away
Threatening to bring Ukraine to its knees

In that land faraway, they lift their collars
Tightening them against the cold
Shivering from the realization
America is cutting them from its fold
