Four Quotes from Martin Luther King, Jr.

On Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, here are four of the quotes he gave us:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."

"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus."

"All progress is precarious, and the solution of one problem brings us face to face with another."

Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase.

  1. Good quotes! But you missed the one I posted late Monday night on my Facebook wall. "The time is always right to do what is right."
