  There is a willingness to protect self, to protect one's own beliefs. There is a willingness to attack. There is a willingness not to listen to the other, not to hear the full of the matter, but to only take that part of the story that suits the interest of hatred and lies.
  Yes, hatred and lies come from the same font, they have the same mother.
  There is an old saying, that hatred is blind and anger foolhardy. The wisdom of ages leaks down to us. What has long been said should be clear to us. Hatred is blind. It does not seek the truth. It finds excuses for not considering the full of the matter. It cuts short discussion, and strikes out with anger.
