Two Days of News on the Russian-Ukrainian War

Among news in the last two days, some of the reports being outlandish and unlikely:

This was posted on the Internet: In a world of Putins, be a Zalinskyy. 

A Nazi Concentration Camp survivor was reportedly killed in Ukraine.

Twenty surrogate babies were found in a basement in Kyiv.

Putin has been described as Europe's last Distator.

The Belarusian president says the war is Beneficial to Americans..

The governors of Maryland and Georgia signed legislation suspending gas taxes in their states as prices escalate with the war. 

Gas prices average $5 outside California for the first time.

Zelenskyy begs Israel to let it use it's famous Dome Defense. Israel declines, as it reportedly is trying to negotiate with Russia. 

Ukraine has rejected a call to surrender.

Eight were killed in a strike on a Kyiv mall.

A Ukrainian mother shielded her baby during the Kyiv mall strike. "I got her covered just in time," she said. 

The Russian--Chinese military relation will likely get stronger as a result of the war. 

Russia warns that U.S.--Russia relations are in danger of being severed. 

Russia has been accused of war crime in it's attack on Mariupol. 

Microsoft has suspended new sales in Russia. 

Zelenskyy's Oscar appearance rejected by organizers. 

Russia has said that the U.S. owes reparations for all the sanctions against it. Those reparations included giving Alaska back. Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski responded by saying, "No way." 

"Good luck with that," Alaskan Governor Mike Dunleavy said when he heard of Russia's request. 

Zelenskeyy will have Ukrainians vote on any peace terms with Russia.

Zelenskeyy says the Russians invasion could lead to World War III.

Zelenskeyy has suspended 11 political parties because he believes they are pro-Russia.

Protestors blocked 1,500 trucks at the Belarus-Poland border. The trucks were defying sanctions against Russia. 

Patron, a two-year old military dog, cleared almost 90 Russian exlosive devices in Ukraine. 

Top Russian chess player Sergey Karyakin has been suspended for supporting the Russian invasion. 

Glen Beck took to the air Monday saying Putin justifies the war because (he says) Ukraine has been practicing ethnic cleansing. 

A group from Utah and Idaho are helping refugees in Poland. 

The U.S. is supplying Ukraine with a Soviet-made missle defense it secretly acquired about 30 years ago. 

New Zealand said Monday (today) it will supply Ukraine with body armour, helmets and vests. 

In the western city of Lviv -- Ukraine's chess capital -- the players continue to play chess in the streets despite the war raging to the east of them. The city considers itself to be the cultural epicenter of Ukraine. 

Snipers have been taking out Russian generals left and right.

Pundits are speculating who will take over after Putin if he should fall.
