A perfect person is someone buried in imperfection but still trying to dig their way out.

  1. I think there is a lot of wisdom and insight in that. I use to think perfection was the absence of problems. While that may be true for some tasks and assignments (like getting a perfect score 100% on a test) or subparts of our life it is not true for the whole book of life. If a book were written in which every character was flawless and every situation without any challenges, not only would it be boring but we would learn nothing new and gain nothing from reading it. It would not be the best novel it would not be an ideal novel it would not be the perfect novel, its destiny would be doomed. It is the challenges, opposition and obstacles we overcome and conquer that make a good novel and a good life. No pain no gain no gain no perfection.
