Did Parler Sell Out to the Russians?

Parler is partially back on line. But, before you decide to join the social media alternative to Facebook, consider that they relied on help from a Russian firm that once worked for the Russian government. Considering what happened two months ago -- the Russians hacking into our computers like no one's business, like no one has ever done before -- don't be too comfortable joining Parler.

Indeed, don't be comfortable with Parler, period.

The news of Parler comes the same day a story runs calling the Russian cyberattack on America, "the largest and most sophisticated attack ever."

Another news story notes, "Parler critics said it was a potential security risk for it to depend on a Russian company, as well as an odd choice for a site popular with self-described patriots."

Another story notes the Russians are hiding the identity and location of the new web server. "Millions of users could be susceptible to surveillance if the platform returns online," it says.
