Minimum wage: Should we up it to $15 an hour? Should we even have a minimum wage, at all?
In designing an economy, create one that incorporates all the needs, and leaves none out. If you have teenagers who will be living at home, that can use starter-jobs, include them. So, if you are to have a minimum wage, make provisions for them.
I heard one suggestion that employers be given tax breaks when they pay employees high wages. There is a thought. But, we must be wary of robbing our tax coffers. Tax loopholes can easily get out of hand.
