Yair Lapid became prime minister of Israel yesterday, and although policies are not expected to change under him, the move is interesting. Most Americans were still getting familiar with out-going Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Now, although Lapid was already one of the highest-ranking leaders in Israel, most Americans had never heard of him.
