So, what do we make of violent movies, violent video games, and guns? Are they just not an influence, regardless what the adages say?
You can find studies that will take you both ways. My thought is, of course violence begets violence. Set a kid in front of a video game and have him enjoy shooting and ripping people apart, and then suggest it doesn't have an effect?
Sorry, I can't buy that. What a people are fed has a lot to do with what they become.
