The Loophole

Would the founding fathers put a loophole in the Constitution
Well, did they
Just by accident

This would
You know
Ruin our government

But what if they left a loophole
One letting kings and thieves slip in
What if it let people steal our government
Who were flat-out criminals, or something there akin

Immunity, you say
Or, perhaps more crucially
The ability to pardon yourself
Get elected Nov. 5
And the loophole
Would be waiting on the shelf

All you got to do is persuade the masses
Make fools of them
Rile them up to outrage
That you should even be arrested
And in danger of a cage

Is this the same Constitution
The one that says you can be impeached
For high crimes and misdemeanors
Cause, if it is
Why would it leave open a way
For us to be taken to the dry cleaners
